Commented hiking
The programme:
Passionate local guides take you to the Cirque du Bout du Monde or Montagne des Trois Croix where you can discover the small heritage building, chapels, low dry-stone walls and hurts. At the bend in a path, you’ll be surprised by the diversity of the flora and fauna of this little corner of paradise. Alexandre Dumas described this valley of the Cozanne as follows:
“I’ve since visited the beautiful valleys of Switzerland ans the sumptuous plains of Italy. I went down the course of the Rhine and up that of the Rhône. I sat on the banks of the Po, with before me the Alps and behind me the Apennines: ah, no view, no location, however varied, however picturesque, however grand, can make me forget my little valley in Burgundy, so tranquil, so secluded, so unexplored, with its rivulet so delicate that it hasn’t been given a name, its shimmering waterfall so light that the slightest wind lifts it and scatters it far away like dew” Extract from Travel Impressions– Alexandre Dumas
